(SPONSORED) Mozes, the leader in mobile engagement, has released a comprehensive set of tools covering mobile commerce and social media for smart phones around live events and concerts.
"As photo and video sharing around events continues at a record pace, artists are now able to find new ways to participate in the conversation using mobile," says Dorrian Porter, CEO at Mozes."As digital sales slow in growth, artists are turning to new avenues to connect with the casual concert goer at the point of inspiration and turn them into a dedicated listener."
Mozes estimates that over 50 million pieces of photo, video and other social content will be shared by music fans using their mobile phones at concerts in 2011. The Mozes mobile engagement platform integrates with iTunes, Amazon, Facebook, and Twitter to deliver a whole new level of social and commerce capabilities to artists.
Mozes' new tools will be used on the road by Virgin Mobile in it's sponsorship of the 3rd leg of The 'Monster Ball' Tour, starring Lady Gaga. Linkin Park is using Mozes in conjunction with Warner Bros. Records and Basecamp Productions to deliver every fan a free live recording of the show on the 'A Thousand Suns' North American Tour. Progressive rock/jam band Umphrey's McGee uses Mozes to allow fans to relive their concert experience by enabling the audience to buy a recording of the live performance right at the show.
